Le Jardin Montessori is a private Montessori day care accredited by MFA offering an outstanding environment for the development of children age 18 m/o to 5 y/o since 2012.

Working with a small group (16 children) in a cosy environment we are striving to abide by the principles of the Casa Dei Bambini put forward by Maria Montessori.

We are looking for an educator (full time, 9h to 17h30) who:

- has experience with children from 18 m/o to 5 y/o,
- is a team player,
- is organized,
- has strong communication skills,
- has great physical endurance,
- speaks English (understanding of French an asset)
- has first aid and police check update
- wage to be discussed


Skills we are looking for:
o Applying an educational program focused on the global development of the children under her responsibility:
o Planning and preparing educational activities aiming at developing every dimension of the child
o Supervising the children in their activities and fostering their social skills
o Monitoring the evolution and the behaviour of the children
o Guiding children in daily tasks, including eating, hygiene, dressing, personal care, and fostering their autonomy and healthy habits
o Establishing a relationship with the parents and sharing with them about the development of their child, especially when arriving or leaving
o Collaborating in the design of intervention plans for children with special needs and seeing to their enforcement
o Seeing to the health, security and well-being of the children
o Performing various tasks related to the position:
o Setting up, decorating and cleaning up the premises
o Preparing and cleaning up the material
o Other (gardening…)
