My god. I can't believe some people! I as a parent would never do that. I felt awkward enough with going into someone's home daycare without a specified time, after having called them. They just told me to "come by anytime" to visit the daycare, and I was not comfortable doing it.
If I were in your place, I would not let the person visit, and obviously not give her a place! If she asks for a reason (she probably will) tell her that you found it incredibly rude of her to come un-announced especially that it was during your off-hours. That in the futur, she should call the daycare she wants to visit and set up an appointment before. Good luck in your search.
